Welcome New Patients!

We encourage you to contact us to answer questions about beginning physical therapy and insurance coverage.

Our Story

Our story began in 2005 when we opened Arapahoe Peak Physical Therapy. In the spring of 2015 we expanded our practice to add Bergen Park Physical therapy at the Buchanan Recreation Center. This location offers the same high-quality care as Arapahoe Peak, with the addition of aquatic therapy and the health and wellness services that the Buchanan Rec Center offers.

What to Expect

You will only be treated by a licensed physical therapist.  Here's what you can expect when beginning Physical Therapy:

  • Evaluation: The Physical Therapist will spend approximately 40 minutes with you for your initial evaluation where they will ask about your medical history and current condition. Next, the PT will do a physical assessment which will include range of motion, strength and special tests to determine the extent of your issues.

  • Treatment Plans: Depending on your evaluation and extent of your issues, the physical therapist will discuss a treatment plan with you which may include a home exercise program. Additionally, education is an important part of the process to assist is resolving your functional outcomes.

  • Treatment Sessions: Depending on the severity of your issues, patients are generally seen 2 times per week. Our treatment sessions are 40 minutes. Duration of treatment is variable.
